Part of our heritage as Lutheran Christians is a rich tradition of music. We are pleased to have Tatiana Thibodeaux, DMA, as our parish musician.
Music is vital to opening ourselves to the transcendent. With a tradition as rich as ours, being opened to God through music also requires some education, so we can understand what we’re experiencing. Music education then is an important part of our work at Grace Lutheran.
We are currently participating in a twelve month study in Psalmody and chant Whether it’s in our prayers or reading of Scripture we are wanting to help people discover chant as a powerful way to find their voice in God’s own Word. You were made as an instrument of praise–come sing with us!
